We're so excited to announce that Southern Shores Pizza is on the Outer Banks Mom Approved list! I know what you're thinking, obviously a pizza place is kid-friendly, right? I would have to agree but Southern Shores Pizza can check off every single box that makes a restaurant become Outer Banks Mom Approved!
Offering so much more than pizza, this restaurant is impeccably clean which is #1 in my book. The minute you walk in the door you feel a warm welcome from the staff and from the local owners. They are truly happy and grateful that you walk in the door and their chalkboard wall is the perfect place for kiddos to wait for their meal. Penny loves to draw a slice of pizza and decorate it with her favorite toppings.
Our kids are crazy for their burgers and pizza. Which is lucky for me as I order it often! Jason and I are on more of a sub and salad kick lately but you can't go wrong with any of their menu options.
Last weekend we had the best time hanging out at the beach in Kitty Hawk. The water was warm and the ocean was about as flat as can be so after we all had a good ocean swim, we were super hungry.
We love that Southern Shores Pizza is within walking distance to our favorite beach access so we headed over and had the most delish meal before walking back to the beach and spending the evening building sandcastles. Why make dinner when you can make sandcastles?
