Outer Banks Mom Approved: Pigman's BBQ

While we fully recognize and agree that our local Outer Banks restaurants deserve a little winter break, we are sometimes left craving our favorite dishes. When the marquee at Pigman's BBQ lit up on Friday night saying that they were re-opening for two weeks, we were so stoked! You can bet the Krieg family was first in line for Country Ham and sweet potato fries and since my Dad is in town for the holidays we knew he was going to get his fill of ribs and chicken!

Penny girl was all smiles when she got her favorite hotdog and she is still trying to figure out a way to convince Mr. Top that she would be a great employee!

But y'all, true to sweet little 1 year old Eloise form she was stealing everyone else's food while standing on a chair because she is apparently way too big for a little baby highchair these days. After all, the girl turns 2 in less than 2 weeks so she is finding her independence. ;) Luckily she still finds her big brother to be cool enough to help her out from time to time because she is totally entering the terrible twos and thinks her parents are a real drag.

We were so happy to get a little bit of our favorite BBQ in before they take a much deserved winter hibernation so they can come back well rested to serve us all soon. For now, they are open through December 31st and they're stocked up with the best local BBQ and some awesome gifts for the Outer Banks lover on your list including their famous sauces!

Side note to my husband: I really really like this ultra soft hoodie...

We are going to grab a few pounds of Pigman's Country Ham and coleslaw to help us feed our out of town holiday guests, too! Not to mention, these kiddos are still home for another 10 days and there is nothing better than Pigman's making their lunches! Pigman's BBQ is Outer Banks Mom Approved because they make dining with kiddos quick and easy, they are locally owned and they are always truly happy that you came in for a meal. Stop by and see them before they close again on December 31st!
